DO YOU PLAY OUTDOOR/BACKYARD GIGS?

Yes, we do. We do not, however, perform outdoors during the winter months, unless there is sufficient shelter and heating is provided.

​

Outdoor performances must be on a flat surface, no grass.

WILL YOU TRAVEL INTERSTATE?​​

Yes, for the right gig, definitely! Especially if we are able to line up a few gigs in another state then we are more than happy to travel interstate.

IS RAVEN A GOTHIC DUO?

 

We have been asked in the past if we are gothic, as this has been an assumption by some. Those who believed such decided not to watch us play as a result. To put it plain and simply.... NO. We are not a gothic duo. Yes, we like ravens and we are called Raven; we also like the shade black, but ravens and black are not restricted to goths, despite what appears to be a common assumption - although, be it a great misconception.

Let it be noted that (true) Gothic is, in fact, part of the mediæval and even early renaissance era. A time which was filled with beautiful European architecture, sculpture, dress and more. The period is divided into Early Gothic (1150-1250), High Gothic (1250-1375), and International Gothic (1375-1450). We do have a love and appreciation for this time in history that brought us so much magnificent architecture, clothing and art.
